The Episcopal Church Welcomes You
Galilee is the camp and retreat center of the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada. The Episcopal Church is an inclusive and welcoming community of diverse Christians in the United States and 17 other nations, all part of the global Anglican Communion. As a church, we strive to come closer to one another and to God as we serve the world and work for justice and peace.
What We Believe
The mission of The Episcopal Church, as stated in the Book of Common Prayer’s catechism, is “to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.” In step with that mission, we follow Jesus into loving, liberating, and life-giving relationships with God, with each other, and with the earth.
Loving, Liberating and Life-giving
Grant, O God, that your holy and life-giving Spirit may so move every human heart, that barriers which divide us may crumble, suspicions disappear, and hatreds cease; that our divisions being healed, we may live in justice and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
