Galilee offers a tranquil and inviting environment for groups throughout the year. Nestled in Glenbrook, Nevada, along the shores of Lake Tahoe, our location provides a stunning and contemplative backdrop for a variety of programs.
Whether you’re planning a retreat, workshop, or family reunion, Galilee’s facilities were designed to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape, offering cozy accommodations for guests.
The area boasts an array of outdoor activities, from hiking scenic trails to kayaking on the pristine waters of Lake Tahoe. In the evening, your group can gather around a crackling campfire and watch the sun set over the lake.
Our staff provide support and resources that can enhance your retreat. Whether seeking solitude or camaraderie, Galilee is a sanctuary where you can unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature and each other.
A Scenic Retreat
Galilee features breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains. We provide accommodations for groups ranging from 12 to 70 people, creating an environment where you can bond, grow, and leave feeling revitalized.
The indoor facility for gathering is Hunting Lodge, which has tables, a kitchenette, a stone fireplace, and views of Lake Tahoe. Hunting Lodge provides a year-round focal point for meetings, social gatherings, and retreats.
Lodging
Galilee offers a variety of accommodations from rustic cabins to contemporary lodges. We have two lodges, two cabins, two dormitories, two bell tents, and a tipi in the summer months.

Food Service
Delicious and wholesome meals are prepared fresh daily by Galilee’s Kitchen Staff and are served family-style in Jenkins Dining Hall or on the picnic benches outside. The kitchen readily accommodates for special dietary needs.
